Who is eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

Eligible households can qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) if someone in your household meets one of the following criteria, which are based on U.S. Government rules:

  • Receives SNAP/food stamps, Medicaid or eligible to participate in another one of the FCC’s Lifeline qualifying programs
  • Receives Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) benefit
  • Receives free or reduced-price school lunch or breakfast through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
  • Federal Pell Grant recipient in the current award year
  • Gross annual household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
  • Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations

Each household can only receive one affordable connectivity benefit. The benefit is portable from one participating provider to another, but cannot be transferred to another individual or household even if they qualify.  For more information, visit ACPBenefit.org

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) with oversight from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
