Celebrating the 2026 RiverStreet Scholarship Program Recipients!
At RiverStreet, we believe that investing in our youth is the single best way to build a brighter future for our communities. That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to announce this year’s scholarship recipients from our Wilkes and Belhaven cooperative service areas!
This year, we are celebrating 33 incredible student winners across 12 different schools who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, character, and leadership. Through our cooperative network, a total of 25 of these scholarships were proudly awarded to deserving students in the Wilkes and Belhaven service areas. An additional 8 scholarships were awarded to applicants in coordination with the Tri-County Foundation partnership.

A Growing Legacy of Support
We first launched our scholarship program back in 2008 with a simple goal: to ease the financial burden of higher education for our service area. Year after year, we’ve watched this program grow, and we are incredibly proud of the long-term impact it has made across our communities.
We are incredibly proud of our 2026 scholars and cannot wait to see what they accomplish next. Whether they are heading to a four-year university, a community college, or a trade school, we know they will make the Wilkes and Belhaven communities proud.
