On Saturday, RiverStreet proudly participated in the Juneteenth Celebration in Amelia, Virginia—a vibrant day honoring freedom, history, and unity.

James R., one of our dedicated technicians from the Amelia office, represented RiverStreet on-site as we provided free Wi-Fi for the event. From music and performances to food, art, and fellowship, the celebration brought together neighbors from across the region to commemorate a powerful chapter in our nation’s story.

RiverStreet hosted their Amelia County Community Appreciation Day yesterday—and what an incredible turnout! Over 100 people stopped by to meet the local team, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about the exciting future of fiber internet in Amelia County.

From start to finish, the energy was high as neighbors connected, asked great questions, and shared their enthusiasm about bringing reliable, high-speed internet to the area. The community’s support and interest were truly inspiring, and we’re thrilled to be part of Amelia’s next chapter of connectivity.

RiverStreet Brings Fiber Internet to Brunswick County, VA

Freeman, VA — May 2025 — RiverStreet Networks is excited to announce that high-speed fiber internet is now available to 162 homes and businesses in Brunswick County, with an additional 1,412 addresses currently under construction and available for pre-orders. This marks a major step forward in RiverStreet’s commitment to bringing fast, reliable internet to unserved and underserved communities across Virginia.

“We’re thrilled to expand our fiber network into Brunswick County,” said Eric Cramer, President and CEO of RiverStreet. “Reliable internet access is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Fiber internet opens the door to better educational opportunities, stronger local businesses, and greater access to healthcare and remote work. We’re excited to partner with the Brunswick County community to bring these benefits to life.”

To celebrate the expansion and help residents get connected, RiverStreet will host a series of Sign-Up Days from 10 am to 2 pm on May 14th, May 22nd, and June 26th at 17967 Governor Harrison Pkwy, Freeman, VA 23856. During these events, residents can stop by to meet the RiverStreet team, learn more about fiber internet, ask questions, and sign up for service or place a pre-order in person. Each event will feature special promotions and giveaways.

RiverStreet is also in the early stages of planning a groundbreaking ceremony in the near future to celebrate this next phase of broadband expansion.

At RiverStreet, we believe that building stronger connections starts right here at home — and there’s no better place to do that than at a local farmers market! This past Friday, our marketing team had the pleasure of setting up a booth at Drakes Farmers Market, right in the heart of the Charlotte County, VA community.

Under rainy skies and surrounded by fresh produce, homemade goods, and smiling faces, we spent the day giving away some RiverStreet goodies, answered questions about our upcoming fiber projects, and getting to know the community.

Visitors stopped by our booth to chat about everything from streaming their favorite shows without buffering to making it easier for their kids to do homework online. We loved hearing stories about how better internet could make a real difference in daily life — from running home businesses to keeping in touch with family near and far.

Our time at Drakes Farmers Market reminded us why we do what we do: because every farm, every small business, and every family deserves the opportunity to thrive with fast, dependable internet.
